Slappy’s is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. - Noon.

Yes, your deposit will be taken at time of pickup, this will cover any damages that may occur

What are the requirements to rent a Slappy’s unit?  Back to top

1.) All renters/drivers must be 25 years of age and hold a valid, national drivers license. They must be covered and pre-approved under an operator's personal auto insurance policy (Binder Policy) We reserve the right to deny service if for any reason management feels renter may be a credit or security risk, or for any other reason

2.) Operation of any vehicle rented under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other intoxicating agent is strictly prohibited.

3.) Travel to Mexico is prohibited.


Driving Practices: It is the responsibility of the renter and primary driver to practice safe driving procedures and that includes, but is not limited to: 1. Following other vehicles at a safe distance to aid in avoiding road hazards hidden by vehicles in front and to allow for additional stopping space, (remember that RVs require mo stopping space);
2. Not entering side streets and roadways that are not prepared for tall, long or wide vehicles;
3. Taking care not to enter streets, roads or driveways where the vehicle rear may drag. Other safe driving tips for motor homes will be read and/or discussed at pick-up orientation.

Your initial rental down payment paid at the time that the reservation is taken, is non-refundable if canceled 30 days or less prior to the rental date. If you cancel your reservation with 31 days or more, you will receive a refund less a $50.00 service fee. Reservations are not confirmed until down payment is received.

How long can I rent an RV for?  Back to top

RVs can be rented for a minimum of 3 days. And as long as you need it, special rates for extended rentals

Do you require insurance ?  Back to top

It is mandatory that all drivers are covered by motor vehicle insurance.

Do you allow towing ?  Back to top

Yes, towing is allowed on our RVs. Renter must not, under any circumstances, alter the wiring or permanent structures on the travel trailer. Renter must have insurance on the property being towed and also have towing packages on vehicle along with a seven pin plug and brake controller

Can I bring my pet ?  Back to top

No pets are allowed due to allergies to other renters

We are sorry, but smoking is not allowed in the units.

Do I need to bring any equipment/supplies ?  Back to top

You should bring (if you wish) kitchen cooking supplies, dishes, silverware, can opener, spatulas, knives, bedding, towels, grills, lawn chairs and bikes.

You will receive a full orientation of the unit, including client's maintenance use and responsibility. Please allow 45 min to an hour for the orientation/check-out process
